Synopsis
When Maryam, a woman in her thirties, decides to rent out her home to a film crew for six days, her tranquil and solitary existence is suddenly upended. Intrigued by the group’s interactions and inspired by the storyline of their short film, Maryam finds herself compelled to confront unresolved aspects of her past. However, as the final day of their stay approaches, she faces a pivotal decision: whether to cling to her familiar life or embrace the opportunity for a transformative new chapter.

Directers bio / filmography
Seyed Farshad Hashemi is a versatile Iranian filmmaker, known for his work as a director, actor, assistant director, and production manager. He gained international attention with his debut feature film Me, Maryam, the Children and 26 Others (2024), which premiered in the Tiger Competition at the International Film Festival Rotterdam and won the Ingmar Bergman International Debut Award at the Göteborg Film Festival. In this project, he also served as writer, casting director, producer, and schedule manager.
Hashemi has also acted in and assisted on several notable films, including Nine Nights (2023), where he worked both as an actor and assistant director. His earlier work includes The Town (2022), Dental Floss (2021), and assistant director roles on acclaimed films like Holy Spider (2022) and Son-Mother (2019).
Known for his multifaceted involvement in every stage of filmmaking, Hashemi continues to be a dynamic and emerging voice in Iranian and international cinema.
