The Success of Me, Maryam, the Children, and 26 Others

Three Awards for „Me, Maryam, the Children, and 26 Others“ at the 46th Efebo d’Oro Film Festival in Palermo, Dedicated to Independent Artists

„Me, Maryam, the Children, and 26 Others“, written and directed by Farshad Hashemi, won three prestigious awards at the 46th Efebo d’Oro Film Festival in Palermo, Italy: the Best Film Award (Prospettive Award), the Mancini Award, and the Audience Award.

Farshad Hashemi dedicated these awards to Iranian independent artists, emphasizing their resilience and commitment to freedom:

„Our main goal in making this film was to capture the true essence of the Iranian people—a reality long concealed under the heavy weight of censorship.
