Where I stand (Jaee Ke Man Istadeham)
Synopsis
In the rugged Kurdish borderlands between Iran and Iraq—where remnants of war still lurk beneath the soil—a lone activist devotes his life to saving others. By day, he farms the land; by heart, he educates and protects his people from the hidden threat of landmines that continue to claim lives decades after the war’s end. Where I Stand is a poetic documentary that follows this silent warrior as he clears paths to safety, weaving in the stories of survivors who carry both scars and resilience. Through a lyrical lens, the film captures the enduring danger, the strength of community, and the quiet heroism found in one man's mission to transform tragedy into awareness.
